Who publishes this
Digital Ecology (digital-ecology.eu) is published by ISCEER S.L. ISCEER is active as a consultancy in the hydrogen field. That is a commercial interest in the subject this site covers, and we state it plainly so you can weigh our figures accordingly. It is the reason every figure on this site is dated, attributed to a named source, and given with its system boundary and caveats, and why the same method is applied to hydrogen and battery alike.
Publisher details are in the imprint. Our safeguard against bias is the method below, applied identically to every technology.
Sourcing rules
- Dated figures. Every figure carries the date it is valid for and the date it was recorded.
- Attributed sources. Every figure names its source, publisher and publication date, and whether the source is primary or secondary.
- Declared system boundaries. Each metric states what is included and excluded (for example well-to-wheel versus tank-to-wheel) and its measurement basis.
- Explicit caveats. What could not be verified is named, not omitted.
- Corrections are visible. A correction is published as a new dated record superseding the old one; nothing is silently edited. See the changelog.
- No forced comparisons. Where two technologies do not genuinely compete in a segment, we show "no comparison" rather than a number.
